 WiredUp Productions

Dear Reader,

Thank you for choosing WiredLeaves, Your Electronic Magazine.

WiredUp Productions is the brainchild of Kimberly and myself. After being employed at a local manufacturing facility for 20 years, we were suddenly faced with the news that more and more factory workers are hearing today: plant closure, with work being consolidated at others divisions. Foreseeing the impact caused by the loss of between 2500-3500 jobs in this community of 21,500, we decided a career change might be in order. So after taking a crash course in webdesign and i-net marketing techniques, we began on-line publishing. Several other projects are in the wings for future release.

We are WiredUp Productions, designing and developing informational products for the internet.

J Scott Pafford
Administrator, WiredUp Productions.

WiredUp Productions Staff:

J Scott Pafford, Administrator:
Temporary factory worker, Scott had 20 years seniority with a local company, when it decided to close it's Lewisburg, TN division which had been in operation for almost 50 years. When asked about the changes coming ahead, he answers, "How can I be bitter? 20 years is 20 years, but this isn't the first plant to close, and won't be the last. We're not the only folks to hurt. I'm just thankful this family has pulled together like it has."

Kimberly Pafford, Administrative Assistant:
Housewife and mother of three, Kimberly smiles and admits that this job change forced on her husband has resulted in, "A lot of extra work." Her feelings when the announcement was made public? "I guess we'll have to go to plan B".
